Actress Maggie Q is proof that vegans and plant-based dieters can be strong, fit, and healthy! She’s currently kicking ass on my favorite show, Nikita, on the CW on Fridays, 8/7c, and she’s even getting her cast members to try out vegan dishes as well.
So why does Maggie Q follow a plant-based diet?

Maggie Q is a role model because she’s also an animal activist. She volunteers at shelters, helps out at fundraisers, and she has rescued all of her dogs from the shelter.
What kinds of plant based foods does Maggie eat on set?
Green smoothies! Her favorite smoothie contains a blended mixture of kale, green apples, parsley, chard, celery, ginger, cucumber, and a hint of honey.
She also makes homemade veggie pho, which is an awesome vegan noodle soup.
